Prague is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic. Situated on the Vltava river in central Bohemia, it is home to approximately 1.2 million people.

St. Vitus´ Cathedral is the greatest and most significant of all temple buildings in Prague. Besides the divine services proceeded also coronations of Czech kings here. In 925 prince Wenceslas the I. based roman rotunda here, which was after 1060 rebuilt in three-aisled basilica with two towers. (more…)
